At the Despot Stefan Square which leads from the City Hall to Krusevac downtown, on Vidovdan 2018 a monument to Princess Milica was ceremonially unveiled. Princess Milica had ruled the country from this very town after the death of her husband in the Kosovo battle. The bronze monument is a piece of art of an academic sculptor Zoran Ivanovic, the creator of many monuments across Serbia.
